Mystic Aquarium aims to inspire people to care for and protect our ocean planet through education, research and exploration.

Conservation Efforts:
The Mystic Aquarium is home to African penguins and Steller sea lions, both endangered species.

The Aquarium also has a strong relationship with SANCCOB in South Africa and travels there annually to assist in African penguin rescue and research efforts. Connecticut’s Beardsley Zoo is a wonderful place to visit – alone or with your family.
