Save the Chimps is an organization with an extraordinary mission – to provide permanent sanctuary and lifelong care to nearly 300 chimpanzees rescued from research facilities, the entertainment industry and the pet trade. Learn more at: savethechimps.org

We have adopted Jennifer who was born on August 20, 1970 at the Holloman Air Force Base in New Mexico. At only 18 months of age, Jennifer was isolated and placed in an endocrinology study lasting a year.

At age 3, she was shipped to the Center for Disease Control in Phoenix, Arizona for Hepatitis research and the list goes on and on.

Plus Between 1981 and 1998 Jennifer had 13 babies that were moved to a nursery to await their life of testing also.

Since moving to the sanctuary, she has been reunited with her first breeding partner Wes who was also rescued by Save the Chimps They spend their days grooming each other and are now inseparable.(this story just warms my heart)

There are other chimps that could sure use your help too. Become an adopted parent today!
